EXTENDAM takes part in acquisition of three hotels in Marne-la-Vallée
EXTENDAM is involved in the acquisition of the Magic Circus, Dream Castle and Explorers hotels, all located near Disneyland Paris, alongside Schroder Real Estate Hotels (SREH) and Benson Elliot. This acquisition comes at a good time as Disney prepares to invest in three new theme parks between 2021 and 2025.
Magic Circus Hotel
As a result of this acquisition and investment, the 396-room 4-star hotel will continue the full renovation started in 2018. There will be a particular focus on food & beverage and events. In particular, new attractions will be created for MICE customers and leisure customers. Currently, there are plans for a cinema, a connected-video-game room and interactive screens, among other things.
Dream Castle Hotel
Another 4-star hotel, Dream Castle has 397 rooms and renovation work will be carried out throughout the entire hotel in the rooms and communal areas. This programme will be in-line with the hotel’s princes and princesses theme.
Explorers Hotel
Extending the magic of Disneyland Paris, the Explorers Hotel has an explorers and pirates theme. The 4-star hotel has 390 rooms and will undergo refurbishment, notably to make the food & beverage part of the hotel even more attractive.
“We are delighted with this new acquisition with Schroder Real Estate Hotels, one of EXTENDAM’s regular partners. The assets have been well identified by the target audiences and the deal has been made at a very good time: Greater Paris is becoming more and more attractive and the reassurance of Disney’s investment in new theme parks should also contribute to a very buoyant market for these adjacent hotels, which will be able to benefit from good synergies,” explains Jean-Marc Palhon, Chairman of EXTENDAM.
