EXTENDAM announces forward purchase of a future 4-star hotel in Seville
EXTENDAM continues to strengthen its presence in major Spanish cities with the development of a new 4-star hotel in Seville, in partnership with Panoram Hotel Management. Located in the highly sought-after Nervión district—known for its residential and economic vitality—the hotel will benefit from a strategic location near the historic city center and major transport infrastructure. The transaction aligns with EXTENDAM’s active investment strategy targeting the most attractive urban markets on the Iberian Peninsula, combining market depth, economic momentum, and cultural richness.
A high-end hotel in the heart of Nervión
The hotel will be located at 2 Avenida Diego Martínez Barrio, at the corner of Avión Cuatro Vientos street, in Nervión, considered Seville’s “Golden Mile.” This area, where land availability is limited, offers excellent accessibility and immediate proximity to the historic center, key tourist landmarks, the train station, and the airport. As a true nerve center of the city, Nervión hosts numerous corporate headquarters and tertiary services, making it a strategic location for both business and leisure travelers.
Scheduled to open in Q1 2028, the hotel will feature 184 rooms and a comprehensive set of amenities: restaurant, bar, rooftop with panoramic pool, fitness room, three modular meeting rooms (155 sqm), and 40 parking spaces. The building is designed to achieve BREEAM Very Good certification, highlighting its strong environmental focus.
It will operate under a renowned international brand, offering the property optimal visibility among both local and international clientele.
Seville: an attractive and resilient hotel market
As Spain’s fourth-largest city, Seville is the capital of the Andalusian regional government and a growing economic hub, particularly in the aerospace, technology, and service sectors. From a tourism standpoint, the city is famed for its UNESCO-listed cultural heritage, including the Giralda, Cathedral, Alcazar, and Plaza de España.
Today, Seville boasts one of the highest-performing hotel markets in Spain. With the second-highest RevPAR in the country after Barcelona*, the city enjoys year-round demand driven by a balanced mix of business and leisure travelers, both domestic and international. The current hotel supply, still fragmented and centered on small-scale properties, opens up opportunities for larger, high-quality developments.
“This project is fully aligned with our investment strategy in Spain—a market we know well and where we have built a strong network of local partners. Seville is a strategic city combining tourism appeal, economic vitality, and market depth. We already operate a hotel in the northern part of the city, demonstrating our in-depth knowledge of its hotel ecosystem. We believe in the relevance of distinctive, sustainable projects in this market. We are also very pleased to initiate this first collaboration with Panoram Hotel Management, whose operational expertise and product vision align perfectly with our convictions,” said Inès Haack, John Hewitt, and Clémence Berger for EXTENDAM.
“At Panoram Hotel Management, we know that brand selection and effective management are key to a hotel’s success. That’s why we’re delighted to have been selected to manage this new hotel in the prestigious Nervión district of Seville. This project represents a major strategic step, not only by strengthening our presence in Andalusia—where we already manage two hotels—but also by consolidating our position in one of Spain’s most promising hotel markets. This new contract brings our portfolio to around twenty hotels under management, once again demonstrating the trust placed in us by major international hotel groups,” said Guillermo Perez Palacios for Panoram Hotel Management.
“With this new development, we are further strengthening our commitment to the tertiary sector, and more specifically to hospitality, a segment experiencing strong growth. Following our developments in Seville (Los Remedios), Córdoba, and soon Madrid, we are proud to contribute to the growth of a landmark project in the heart of Nervión, alongside experienced partners such as EXTENDAM and Panoram Hotel Management,” concluded Grupo Insur.
