In addition to their robustness and professionalism, EXTENDAM is perfectly understanding the brand DNA and the ambition we have for Sofitel ».

Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese: celebrating the dolce vita lifestyle in the heart of Rome

The 19th century palace is located on Via Lombardia, a quiet street in the heart of Rome, and is only a few steps from the iconic Villa Borghese gardens, Piazza di Spagna and Via Veneto.

Built in the heart of a district renowned for its numerous touristic sites such as the Villa Medici, the Trevi Fountain and the Piazza del Popolo, the Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese benefits from a high appeal with travelers, as well as a close proximity to numerous luxury boutiques, the embassy of the United States of America and Great Britain, the Italian Ministry of Defense, Economy, and Finance, and important corporate headquarters.

The 5-star hotel offers high-quality services including Settimo, a 60-seat restaurant, a roof terrace with panoramic view of Rome, a fitness center as well as meeting rooms.  Following an extensive renovation in 2018 by designer Jean-Philippe Nuel, the asset offers a classic contemporary style that combines the Italian “Dolce Vita’s” lifestyle and the French Art de Vivre. The hotel will now undergo a new phase of technical works to improve its energy and environmental performances.

Maxime Durand, Manager in charge of the operation for EXTENDAM added: « To finance this operation, we contracted a Green Loan with the support of Crédit Agricole Corporate Investment Banking teams in Milan. This first collaboration with CACIB marks also our entry into the Roman hotel market ».

EXTENDAM has appointed Ring a Bell Hospitality as asset manager of the hotel.
