Report on EXTENDAM's 7th Matinale de l'Hôtellerie et de la Restauration (Hospitality Industry Morning Conference)

The Bpifrance auditorium was full for EXTENDAM’s 7th Matinale de l’Hôtellerie et de la Restauration, devoted this year to the main HR challenges facing the industry. This meeting saw discussions between entrepreneurs, analysts and a growing number of the general public. More than 250 professionals came together on Thursday 11 April for the event.

Bertrand Pullès, Associate Director of EXTENDAM introduced the conference by drawing a parallel: “The issue of human resources is one of our main challenges. We all know the importance of surprising customers; to bring in and keep talent we need to do the same thing, especially in an industry where there are 150,000 job vacancies this year. We need to be more agile to attract and retain the best teams.”
