EXTENDAM Announces The Acquisition Of A Future 4-star Hotel In Seville

EXTENDAM strengthens its presence in major Spanish cities with the development of a new 4-star property in Seville, in partnership with Panoram Hotel Management in a turn-key project with Grupo Insur. Located in the Nervión district, renowned for its upper residential sector and economic vitality, the hotel will benefit from a prime location close to the historic centre and major transport infrastructures. This  transaction is fully aligned with EXTENDAM’s active investment strategy in the most attractive urban markets of the Iberian Peninsula, combining market depth, economic dynamism, and  historic landmarks. A premium hotel in the heart of Nervión.

The property will be located in Avenida Diego Martínez Barrio, 2 at the crossroads with Avión Cuatro Vientos Street, in what is considered the “Milla de Oro” of Seville. This district, where land availability is scarce, offers optimal accessibility and immediate proximity to the historic centre, key monuments, the railway station, and the airport. As a key district of the city, Nervión is Seville’s economic and business hub, hosting numerous corporate headquarters and service companies, thus providing a strategic location for both leisure and business clientele.

The hotel, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2028, will feature 184 rooms and a full range of amenities, including a restaurant, a bar, a rooftop with panoramic swimming pool, a fitness centre, three flexible meeting rooms (101 sqm) and 40 parking spaces. The building is targeting a BREEAM Very Good certification, reflecting EXTENDAM’s strong ESG commitment.

The hotel is set to operate under an international brand, ensuring optimal visibility to both domestic and international customers.

Seville: an attractive and resilient hospitality market

As Spain’s fourth largest city, Seville is the seat of the Andalusian regional government and an increasingly dynamic economic hub, notably in the aerospace, technology, and services sectors. In terms of tourism, the city is renowned for its exceptional cultural heritage (Giralda, Cathedral, Alcázar, Plaza de España…), all UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Seville currently ranks amongst the best performing hotel markets in Spain. With the country’s second highest RevPAR after Barcelona1, the city benefits from stable year-round demand, driven by a balanced mix of leisure and business travellers, both domestic and international. The current hotel supply, still fragmented and largely composed of small properties, opens the way for larger-scale development opportunities.

« This project is fully in line with our strategy in Spain, a market where we have built a strong network of local partners. Seville is a strategic city, combining tourism appeal, economic vitality, and market depth. We already operate a hotel in the northern part of the city, which reflects our in-depth understanding of its hospitality ecosystem. We firmly believe in the relevance of differentiated and sustainable projects in this market. We are also very pleased to be launching this first collaboration with Panoram Hotel Management, whose operational expertise and product vision are perfectly aligned with our convictions », states Inès Haack, John Hewitt and Clémence Berger for EXTENDAM.

« At Panoram Hotel Management, we are convinced that the choice of brand and its effective management are key to the success of any hotel project. We are therefore delighted to have been selected to manage this new hotel located in the prestigious Nervión district of Seville. For our group, this represents an important strategic milestone, as it not only strengthens our presence in Andalusia, where we already manage two hotels, but also consolidates our positioning in one of the most promising hotel markets in Spain. This new contract brings our portfolio to nearly twenty hotels under management, once again confirming the trust that leading international hotel groups continue to place in Panoram », states Guillermo Perez Palacios for Panoram Hotel Management.

« Through this new development, we are reinforcing our commitment to the tertiary sector, and more specifically to hospitality, a fast-growing segment. Following our projects in Seville (Los Remedios), Córdoba and soon Madrid, we are proud to contribute to the emergence of a structuring project in the heart of Nervión, alongside experienced players such as EXTENDAM and Panoram Hotel Management », concludes Grupo Insur, developer of the project.
