Matthieu de Lauzon began his career in 2011 at OTC Asset Management as an Investment Manager. He joined Extendam at its inception in 2013 as a Manager, where he actively contributed to the development and structuring of the company’s investments.

An expert in franchised hospitality, Matthieu de Lauzon has led and supported nearly 50 equity investments across various Extendam portfolios, collaborating with diverse brands such as Sofitel, MGallery Mercure, ibis, AC Hotel by Marriott, Aloft by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, Radisson Blu, Voco, Holiday Inn, Adagio, Campanile, Kyriad, Première Classe, and Best Western. Alongside franchised hotels, Matthieu de Lauzon has also invested in around thirty independent hotels.

Since 2017, Matthieu has been a Partner at Extendam and has invested over €300 million on behalf of the company’s funds. He has also successfully completed divestments totaling more than €150 million. Matthieu de Lauzon possesses leading expertise in private equity and hospitality LBO transactions.
